Matthew Stewart, former Director of the Department of Child Safety, founded Our Sister Our Brother with a commitment to keep families together and navigate challenges in child welfare. Through years of working closely with families, he recognized that many were facing broader barriers beyond child welfare involvement, including economic hardship, legal challenges, and limited access to supportive resources.
Matthew Stewart leads with the principles of loving your neighbor. Today, Our Sister Our Brother works alongside families by providing coaching, guidance, education, and connections to community resources that help families build toward their own visions, dreams, and the future.
